Gasoline/Aircraft Fuel Corps --really unprofitable? (Little Upsilon)

I was just looking at some of my Gasoline/Aircraft Fuel corps in my Ceo and country, and I realized that both are making massive losses due to the amount of raw materials they are buying.
I have no idea why, but the product sold is WAY less than the amount of raw materials they buy each year, thus they lose a ton of money.
It buys raw materials automatically, and seems to be keeping stocks within the range of 7-15mths. depending on the product, but I have no idea why this is happening.
Can anyone help?

There has been a major oversupply of gasoline in LU for the last two game years or more. The current price is about half what you would expect.

All gasoline corporations will make a loss if they continue to buy supplies. You can either transfer funds to the corporation to prevent loans which might hurt int he long run or you can close up shop.

Chances are the oversupply is only temporary and prices will soon revert.

-Buy quality 100 raw materials.

-Upgrade production quality to max and make it public.

-Increase salaries to 1500 or higher.

The corporation might not make a profit which means that the stock owned by investment funds won't get profit payments. Your country gets income taxes from the workers.

Gasoline and aircraft fuel companies would make good profits if electricity and oil were over supplied and gasoline or AF was in shortage. A country with all 4 types of corps would be hedged against market swings.

I usually keep my salaries around 800?
I've been told that 1500 is bad...?

Everything else makes sense to me though.

yes slock 1500 is just dumb 600-1000 is the best atm.

let me rephrase:

In Gasoline or Aircraft Fuel corporations, use about double the salary you are using in other corporations.

Maxwell's point is also valid. with both oil and electricity selling close to double the base price and gasoline below base price making profit is hopeless.

If you use only one setting for all your corporations to not build any gasoline corporations and destroy the ones you have.
