Hi,im a new player but have had 4 accounts on simcountry and loved it every time,including now.

I started the way i always did except this time i brought a friend along with me.

Generally my build strategy is,start a navy,decent army and find a C3 near me. I did that this week and got like 8k artillery and 4k tanks and a hundred some navy fighters and took the C3 nearest me. My friend did basically the same thing,only with Navy (because he didnt realize the game went through another war overhaul.

After i took my second country i looked at the national debt from war and noticed i had maybe 3 outstanding loans i must have taken out to finance the war.

Since the war a few days ago,my economy has started to die. Ive seen SOME signs of recovery(actually,a rather large sign with my index going from like 40 to 157 in about 2 days

However,im 1.5 trillion in debt due to loans my corporations couldnt ever repay

The debt isnt really the issue its that for some reason my country decides we need loans when i have 500B in cash on hand.

im building more hospitals but still need workers....
