Why do people buy gargantuan militaries and then threaten to quit when their allies get attacked?

I dont know. Seems moronic to me. If you are gonna quit over a war, you shouldn't be playing this game to begin with. They were just kickin butt all over LU awhile back. It was 'fun' then. There is no need to quit. Dust yourself off and try again. LDI slapped me around all over LU for the better part of 6 months, look at me now.

Still here having fun.

Poop. :(

The 'quitter' in question had said he was leaving before your decs came along Beast. As a newly married man embarking on a new career he could not spend the time and effort to play a drawn out war-game with you and yours. I'm sure I dont know who threatened to quit.

You've had your lulz doing what you said you wanted to do, bashing 2 countries whose defences seem to have been somewhat better than you initially claimed the reason for your attack was, so really I can't see any reason for you to smack talk here. You didn't see us larging it when a major fed on FB capitulated under attack and threatened to quit, calling in their friends to get us to stop.

Well, enough of this nonsense, ~moving on~

What bothers me is deregging 100s of T's of assets when your fedmate is at war. Give the countries away. Help someone else. We knew he was quitting, hence why we didn't dec him. BC got married in... March? April?

I'm more disappointed that there is no one left who has any willingness to do much of anything. The largest fed militarily, economically, and in population-wise sent a total of ZERO counter-decs when one of their five members was under attack. I have no comprehension why specific players in your federation would build massive 20 country empires with gargantuan militaries, and then decide to try to sell of their empire the second their ally gets attacked.

Daelins countries were war rank 3 and 17. They did fall rather easily. The worst of his countries in his cluster was... 17? Just because it takes a few hours to shoot through 400k interceptors does not mean that they were well-defended.

Also, not sure I'd call your fight on FB one against a "major fed." You fought 3 players, of which only one had every fought much before, and none of which had any major war slaves.
