Okay, I'm going to attempt to publish statistics regularly on the 1st and 15th of every month. This will be the first of such statistics. This is also the trail run of my secret value (ScV). This is meant to be a factor measuring the efficiency of a player in getting the most out of their sim-citizens. Without revealing how the ScV is exactly computed, I can say that the ScV compares several factors to presidents on both GR and LU, with the ScV of both worlds combined being 100 exactly.

For those concerned, this ScV has been altered from the previous version. These tweaks should correct the issue raised on the previous thread without decreasing the integrity of this secret value. As the ScV can only be based upon those factors present in the downloadable sheets, it will not always be the most accurate display of player efficiency and skill. These limitations, however, are structural to all statistics.
If anyone wants to know the intention behind creating the ScV, it is to better sort Federations and Empires. To see what I mean, simply compare the ranking discrepancies between ScV * Population and Population sorts. This is not designed to be biased in any manner, and rewards those players that get the most out of each sim-citizen. Thank you. P

Kinda dumb really. Just say what the value you are using is. Why would anyone need to break their heads trying to figure out your logic? If the value was important, it wouldn't be secret.

Since we have no idea what goes into calculating this ScV thingy, it is of no use in making any sort of comparisons. Unless statistics can be independently verified they are of no value. This is a basic premise of science and statistics. I suggest you either publish your formula or drop the meaningless stat.

Maybe we can have a NEW statistic.....one that shows who has the most population with the least amount of defense....and who are out of war protection....now thats a useful statistic...;)
