I used to search for games like this when i was young (before i had internet). I love the aspect of controlling an empire and always found these type of games fun but on playstation theres not many choices for a wide open, fully custimable game like this. Even tho games have evolved today theres still a lack of games like this. I used to dream of a game like sim country but now, i think a more playstation effect of the game would be a good thing. Not enough changes to make the 4$ monthly fee go up but more of a story line based game to make playing it feel the world wide fame, praise and pressure of a world leader. Or state leader. For example, to start, the game can automatically write history in one world. Large accomplished empires can be recognized on the simcountry portal and other players can read the history. such as the wars, economy, and nationalizations of that country. Whats really missing is the sim country peoples ability to be heard. In a democracy governed state can they not vote? If they were able to voice there opinions, the game would have more of a real life feel. If a leader is a dictater, the people will rebell. The only entertaining action of the game is reading forum post and newspapers to see whos fighting. Its all complicated to put in the game because of the planning and organizing it would take, probally driving our price to play up but it would make the game better. What about drug laws, capitol punishment laws, is there a free media in that empire? There are hundreds of these types of choices to make when running a country. And each persons history and info about there empire can be drawn from there choice of doing certain things like nuclear weapons operations, the reasons for there wars(raiding, pillaging, to conquer) and by the way they play the game or the laws and decisions they make. Let me know what you think.

I think that Simcountry is overdue for a spin-off.
