Thought it might be a good idea to include this as a measure of economic strength. I've excluded empires with populations less than 15m which eliminates some newer players. C3s seem to have a fairly high PPC due to their minimal military so new Presidents unfairly skew the top 20 a bit.

Big up for Kitsuné for being the only President in the top 20 in both categories.

It looks like ive made it the top 20 federations. Well with these statistics on this page when other players are looking at it I should be able to recruit some more countries to my cause. @James, sorry but I'm not going to take requests for specific stats. I fear I would never get a moment's peace if I did.

@rep, actually it didn't take long. I already had the spreadsheet set up and just needed to paste in the latest data & check for changes in fed complexes. Have had a busy week though and there have been no big debates that caught my eye (Scarlet, still hoping for a response in another thread, but I know you're busy).

@Pres JHE, The #1 spot goes to your main country. The data above show empire statistics ranked by population. All this means is that someone has a greater population across their empire. There is no shame in not making the top 20.

@Accordion, tbh I'm not entirely sure how it's calculated (it's one of the categories in the csv file downloaded from SC). I thought it might be the production value of corporations (Departments > Business > Trade Statistics) but the numbers don't match up for my country. Perhaps it also includes production from enterprise corps in the country as well which fits my data a little better. Can anyone shed any light on this?

@All, I thinking of working out some sort of metric that would combine aspects of economic & military strength to give an overall ranking for federations/empires. I hope this would better represent overall strength than ranking by population and allow better comparison between economic vs. militaristic players. Let me know if you have any suggestions/thoughts on this.

It might be worthwhile to figure out a way of ranking empires by their economic ability in the same way that countries have a finance rank.

There are three types for countries - country history, country scores & country indexes and data. Much of their content overlaps. I use the country history sheets.
