For every world to read. Instead of paying for a lease which is 4 gold coins for 5 weeks, I think you should instead pay from country cash, maybe something like 200B a week, that way there would be a lot more people filling up the docks and ultimately a lot more space trade as a result.

5 GC for 4 weeks is standard. We don't have any choice in the matter. The reason we can't use game cash (at least this would be my guess), is because your space program deals with your whole empire. It is not run on a per-country basis, so its probably the most efficient to use GC because that is more universal.

Of course we have a choice in this matter if the gamemaster might decide to alter this, thats why no one bothers with the space trade much because of the damn gold coins shit you have to pay. Of course it can work if you're renting a space dock you can still pay for the rent through your country cash. Or if you're leasing a dock out to somebody they can pay you with their country cash which goes straight into your main country's cash balance. If it worked out that way there would be loads of trade i'm sure of it, and you could well be earning a lot more gold coins when selling your items there as a result of the increased trade. I can't believe theres people talking about space wars already when the space trade has'nt even developed properly yet.

Now, space wars is not something I look forward to. I agree with you there. They need to fix the problems that already exist with the war process before they let us go zooming off to fight on other worlds.
