Corporation Shortage Issue (Little Upsilon)

For the last month the corporations in my country have constantly had shortages, I keep going in one by one and turning the orders into immediate ones to alleviate the problem but it just will not stop. I already adjusted the trade strategies to "best price" and changed the supplies quality for my corporations to "any quality" but they keep having shortages. Can anyone help?

I recently had the same problems. Buying at best price is what caused it for me. Changed my buy strat to -4/5 and the problem's solved. Took a few months to get back to normal though. I have my quality at 180.

I think Quinton asked because the forums have been on fire for the last few weeks over this issue (or set of issues).

The general concensus seems to be that the GMs have cut back on subsidizing product shortages on the world markets. Forcing countries and enterprises to develop more diverse and self-supporting economies.

These changes have resulted in shortages for supplies to corps. Now you have to be extraordinarily vigilant about your corps' supplies! (FYI: you can store up to 60 months worth of a particular supply.)

For some reason (maybe because of the types of corps people were building before), these changes have hit LU really hard. I've seen my countries' profit fall about 60%.

Best bet? Try to build corps to supply as much to yourself as possible, then sell the rest on the world market.

If you left this game 90 days ago, you are now designated BANISHED to the low-class of n00b because of the rate of change the game is experiencing atm.

the levels were cut in half lol you are at the equivalent of game level 2.5 back in your day.... AND they made game levels easier to achieve....

Back in my day there was no levels. There wasnt even a Golden Rainbow world when I started playing this game. Thats how much of a noob I am. Wont take long to figure out whats new.
