Scarlet Army Marches On (Little Upsilon)

Shortly after ascending to the presidency of my new nation, I noticed that my military forces were actually quite formidable... for starting forces at least. As such, I've marched through two C3s and conquered both... ran out of ammo for ground forces for the second one, but hey, these were free weapons so w/e about the losses. Now, my empire is War Level 2. Hopefully I can march on straight to War Level 7 by the end of the month. C3 raiding at that level is still profitable, right?

Anyway, I noticed that the units are considerably smaller and that the effect of damaged population centers looks like it might work differently than before. Could be imagining the second one, but the units are definitely smaller... which seems good considering that precision bombers and cruise missile ships look like an absolute pain in the behind to get (and these were my favorites before).

War Level 4 reached.

OAAMB + MRMB to take out Defense Helicopter Wings.
HA + HT to take out garrisons and locations (with occasional strikes from MRMB on both).
Haphazardly picked locations to target.

Ground War... is a success. I haven't had to invest any cash into the empire aside from what I've earned through conquest. My military forces have grown, infrastructure has improved, and cash still exceeds initial value.

Expectation is that OAAMB will remain effective against single Defense Helicopter Wings as long as defending unit quality does not exceed attacking unit quality. However, initial calculations also indicate potential of inexpensive air war. Further calculations needed for final verdict.
