Greetings my fellow Little Upsilonians!!!
Tomorrow night @ 7pm CST @ the General Assembly Chat room I will be giving the Live State of the NLUO of LU Address. I ask that all government officials please be in attendance.
Once the Address is over then we can congregate together, and talk among ourselves in better organizing and participating. Also there is a Calendar at the NLUO website for all events if anyone wants to be able to plan so they can be available for event they want to attend. I thank you for your time, patience, and ears.

State of the NLUO of LU Address
1st Term- 1st Address (3048-3068)
Greetings My fellow Little Upsilonians.
The State of the NLUO is incomplete!! We have no organization as of right now per say. We have through the nations and Empires who love LU build a semi functioning World Government on LU. There are 3 Branches to this government.
There is an executive Branch, which is the Secretary General, Secretaries of State, Justice, Treasury, & LU Security. We thank the Heads of State who participate in this executive Branch like King Lord Arbuckle, who is the secretary of Treasury. Chief Jackseptic who is the Secretary of State. President Slayerofgods who is the Secretary of Justice, and last but certainly not least King Herod VI who is the Secretary of LU Security. This is one of the branches that is fully functioning and has average participation.
There is also a Tricameral Legislature consisting of the Committee of the Joint Chiefs of staff, who are the chairmen and members of federations who represent each region in which they reside. There are 85 regions, so there are 85 seats. Members do hold multiple seats in this body. There are 15 Expansionist Party member seats, and 10 Isolationist Party Member seats. and the LU Defense Organization hold the most seats with 4 as a federation. There are also 14 seats up for grabs because they have no large empires. I am still federalizing the rest of the continents, and I have 6 left. The second body is the LU Security Council which has 15 members, but 8 of them are in the World Government. This body is fully operational is an below average participation. The 3rd body is the Committee of Common Market founders, and there are 85 seats here as well. This body is not functioning at all right now.
We also have a Judicial Branch called the LU International Criminal Court. This body has a Chief Justice, but is not fully operational as well. It consists of a Chief Justice, 4 Associate Justices, an Attorney General, and a Public Defender. The LU Security Council also acts as a Judicial body as well.
These governmental bodies are not hard to use, and once people get used to using it, the politics can get very interesting and fun, while at the same time running LU efficiently. I have only 20 something LU Years left as Secretary General, and I plan to call one General Assembly, and do one more State of the World Address. Once the government is fully operational and full participation, the Secretary General should be required to speak live.
This is the State of the NLUO of Little Upsilon. If we want Peace, Prosperity, Growth, and interactive international politics, we must participate, or just sit in your cubby hole and build your empire to yourself. State of the NLUO of LU Address
1st Term- 2nd Address (3068-3088)
Greetings Little Upsilon & Observers from other planets of the galaxy:
The State of the NLUO is a growing state. We have encountered crisis after crisis, and have been able to stand strong as a government. We have had a war with NAN/Hydra, a current cold war with NAN/Hydra. We have had the Secretary of State have to resign, the LU Security Secretary Resigned his position, but we were able to fill those positions quickly. We are still working to build a participatory tri-cameral Legislature for the government. This will be the last Address to you LU as Secretary General of LU, unless I am re-elected.
We have had a power shift in the government, and the Isolationists now have the Majority in the Joint Chiefs, the Committee of Common Market Founders & Members, and in the LU International Criminal Court. I am willing to reach across the Isle to work with the other side if I am re-elected.
I want to congratulate Secretary of State President Wendy for her tireless effort in the growth of the NLUO. She is the most powerful member of the NLUO. She controls the entire Legislative process in the Joint Chiefs. She is the Majority Leader, and Secretary of State, which controls the joint chiefs.
I want to also Congratulate Secretary Stephen Ryan for being the 2nd most Powerful member of the NLUO. He is the Secretary of Defense, and he is a Justice on the LU International Court, as well as the Minority Leader of the Joint Chiefs.
I want to also congratulate Secretary King Lord Lee who is the 3rd most Powerful Member of the NLUO. He is the Secretary of Treasury, and the Minority Leader of the Committee of Common Market Founders & Members. He runs the LU World Bank, and also a member of the Security Council, and has his hand in all aspects of economic life of LU.
I would be the 4th most powerful member if there were such a thing. I applaud you all for your accomplishments. We need to keep this growth going, and continue to share, and move forward. I thank you for your time. I love you all. I am a patriot of Little Upsilon, and I love my planet.

State of the NLUO of LU Address
2nd Term- 1st Address (3088-3108)
The State of the NLUO is in a very stable state of growth. The Executive Administration is no longer controlling the General Assembly, and is now a servant branch of government to the General Assembly. It took this world war with the Hydra Federation and its branches for this government to grow.
I just wanted take this time to thank all the secretaries of the Executive Administration for your tireless efforts at your positions adding to your department forums at the gov site. We a growing very rapidly because of this, and the recruiting blitz done by the Secretary of Defense, and the Secretary of State. I have also been recruiting. I have had 5 new people email me in 2 days. There are now 30 members of the NLUO World Government.
Secretary of State: Lord Lee is going through an election right now, and he has done a great job in his position as Secretary of State. His transition into this position thrust him to be the most politically powerful member of the NLUO World Government.
Secretary of Justice: Herod has done a great job keeping the executive branch in check, and a servant branch to the Legislative Branches. He is also a rising star in the government.
Secretary of Treasury: Aries has been a leader on the economy of LU, and the NLUO World Government. His efforts are single handed getting our government as a whole out of debt, and allow new and existing nations to better understand the economic side of the game. He is another rising star, and also maybe look for this guy to even become Secretary General one day.
Both of these Secretaries Herod and Aries are both Hydra members. Hydra is becoming one of the dominant federations in the NLUO World Government. Their policies have stablized the government and stopped the bleeding of defections from out government.
Special thanks to the Leader of the Hydra Federations King Josias for allowing some of your fed members to participate, and thus making us a better government. I was wrong about your federation.
Secretary of Defense: King James the Fair has done a great job at managing the NLUO Military, and his policies have helped new and existing nations learn the war game. He has also been accepted into the Security Council. He has been a great Secretary of Defense. His recruitment efforts have also changed the image of our government and the perception of new and existing nations of who we are as a government. Great Job!!!
Secretary of Intelligence: President Chiwoo has also been a great addition to our administration. His intelligence and coordination of international intelligence has helped us not just to go to war, and make better decisions in diplomacy, which helped all of our secretaries better able to do their jobs. He is also a new and rising star in this government.
Secretary of Security: Carthage has done a great job in monitoring natural disasters, and working with the Security Council to get developmental aid to nations who need it.
Again As secretary General I wanted to thank you all for your great efforts, and we are fast becoming the government originally envisioned.
Lastly, We need to continue to grow, but most of all we need to be able to get to the meetings scheduled, more interaction on the government site, learn how to utilize the Instant messenger on the government site. Through these measures we can allow the general assembly to grow. All we need is the general assembly to become more active, and we will be officially fully operational.
The next step is to lobby the Gms for small changes to help the government be able to integrate into the SC game even more. For example, if we can get a cash stock in our federations, this will help the government be able to record revenue through federation activity as opposed to individual revenues. We strengthen the federations, and we strengthen the government as a whole. Eventually we want to get the government involved in the space trade as well. That will be later down the line once we accomplish all of our present goals. I thank you all and look forward to the next 20 LU Years.
