This thread is for all candidate to debate on these questions that I will present.

1. What makes you the best Candidate for Secretary of State?

2. How will you be able to deal with the border issues that are beginning to surface between some of the nations of LU?

3. How will you be a strong diplomatic outlet to the GMs for LU concerns?

4. How will to facilitate nations to go to the Secretary of State forum for their concerns on LU?

5. Why should we vote for you to be Secretary of State?

Please answer all these questions in your posts. Debate, and use each other's posts to show weakness, and strengths, then we can make a better decision on who we want for Secretary of State.

1. What makes you the best Candidate for Secretary of State?

I am the best candidate for Secretary of State because I'm new and do not have prior or tainted relations with other federations and players. I have recently come to know some helpful and power players in LU. They have all taught me useful items and styles of the game to advance along the road. I'm the best candidate for Secretary of State because I am a developing player and have a good relationship with those outside the NLUO.

2. How will you be able to deal with the border issues that are beginning to surface between some of the nations of LU?

The border issue of LU has become very important recently. I would push for the concerned nations to approach me, so we can have the own of the slave nation discuss a reasonable outcome to please both nations. Although both nations may not get everything they want, compromises are better than wars. Second option, if e

I am the best candidate for Secretary of State because I have been around since this government started. I have seen 3 Secretaries of State come through here, and I had the experience of observing them all. So, I can take from all of them. You would honestly not want a brand new nation like President Gil to be Secretary of State. President Lord Lee has obviously not done anything as secretary of state. This Pope Innocent is a noob and just joined the government and does not even know how the government works, so how could he even think of running for office. President kingdictator is not vocal at all. How is that a good Secretary of State. I would be the best candidate.

Good Diplomacy, Loyalty, and Listening to the views of the international community.

Hold a peace conference.

I will air my concerns to the GM in the game forum and also send private messages.

5. Why should we vote for you to be Secretary of State?

I have experience as Secretary of State and have had many senior roles and responsibilities on Little Upsilon in varies federations/organizations.

Can NLUO please just have one thread? There's no need for 20 million every week when you guys are holding the ritualistic rigged election.

No one cares about the elections except for about 4 members of the NLUO, so either set up your own forums off-site or keep it contained within one thread here. To prevent that thread getting too long, you perhaps could create a new one each real month. That's acceptable. Seriously though, there's no need for a continuous flood of useless information.

Pay no attention to people who come to make negative comments. They have no organization of their own, so they have to come against ours. Truth be told, without the NLUO this game would SUCK.

My statement wasn't a negative comment; it was a suggestion. Stop spinning stuff in your favour to suit your own self-interests, because everyone with a brain can see what you are doing. The fact that I made a reasonable request, and you blindly rebutted makes me think you are unable to take criticism like a man, and thus are unsuitable for a leadership position of any sort.

I agree Tom. Unfortunately, Hezy is a determined spammer, and I have long since given up on attempting reason there.

Not having an "organization" of their own seems to not be holding anyone back...

Hezy perhaps to gain support, you could TRY to get along with the majority of your "minions" that reside on LU instead of starting fights - especially ones who are decent at playing the actual game. You should attempt decency as well.

I honestly have no problem with the concept of the NLUO, I just don't agree with almost any of its leadership or procedures - I keep hoping for change... in vain.

When he realises the futility of his constant babble about running a game planet then maybe it will be the day he can be released into the community.

Please get your facts right Easy! You cannot vote for a candidate more than once and also voting is not just restricted to the NLUO government. The international community of Little Upsilon can vote too!
