How will you be able to deal with the border issues that are beginning to surface between some of the nations of LU? 3. How will you be a strong diplomatic outlet to the GMs for LU concerns? 4. How will to facilitate nations to go to the Secretary of State forum for their concerns on LU? 5. Why should we vote for you to be Secretary of State? Please answer all these questions in your posts. Debate, and use each other's posts to show weakness, and strengths, then we can make a better decision on who we want for Secretary of State. I am the best candidate for Secretary of State because I'm new and do not have prior or tainted relations with other federations and players. I have recently come to know some helpful and power players in LU. They have all taught me useful items and styles of the game to advance along the road. I'm the best candidate for Secretary of State because I am a developing player and have a good relationship with those outside the NLUO. 2. How will you be able to deal with the border issues that are beginning to surface between some of the nations of LU? The border issue of LU has become very important recently. I would push for the concerned nations to approach me, so we can have the own of the slave nation discuss a reasonable outcome to please both nations. Although both nations may not get everything they want, compromises are better than wars. Second option, if either countries do not wish to talk, then I will ask the federation leaders (if both are a member of a federation) to talk with the nations preparing for war and try to work something out between federations. I would also ask leaders of Federations to add a rule or pledge to have their members send a message of concern 24 hrs prior to conflict. This is the way I would handle it and involve the many players of LU to show respect for each others hard work and time. 3. How will you be a strong diplomatic outlet to the GMs for LU concerns? I'll be honest I do not know the GMs that well, nor been on the security council either. However, I will message the GMs with concern of nations in LU, but the nations I notice with the pressing concerns would be the vets and long-term players, so I feel confident they could send their own message to the GMs. 4. How will you facilitate nations to go to the Secretary of State forum for their concerns on LU? I can ask the nations of LU to join the government forum, but as many players have expressed their dislike toward needing to join those forums. I will gladly post a Sec. of State folder under LU in the SC forums, just encase players of any rank and understanding would like to say hi or post a concern or question. This is the best way to use our resources and produce better results. 5. Why should we vote for you to be Secretary of State? As Secretary of State, I will work towards peace, prosperity, and expansion of knowledge and land. I will not press players into anything, only make a request and hopeful work something out to benefit the objective of the request and the nation or federation I have asked. I will stay informed on the events around LU, war, earthquakes, and economical downfall, and look to improve the standing of new players and vets alike. I will encourage new players to talk in chat and forums become known to many players and the community of SC, so they can learn and grow within the community as I have done. My overall goal is grow and understanding between players. Thank you for your time, ladies and gentlemen, lords and scholars, new and veteran players. I am the best candidate for Secretary of State because I have been around since this government started. I have seen 3 Secretaries of State come through here, and I had the experience of observing them all. So, I can take from all of them. You would honestly not want a brand new nation like President Gil to be Secretary of State. President Lord Lee has obviously not done anything as secretary of state. This Pope Innocent is a noob and just joined the government and does not even know how the government works, so how could he even think of running for office. President kingdictator is not vocal at all. How is that a good Secretary of State. I would be the best candidate. 2. How will you be able to deal with the border issues that are beginning to surface between some of the nations of LU? I would not intervene in border issues because that is between the federations who occupy the region. 3. How will you be a strong diplomatic outlet to the GMs for LU concerns? I would monitor the forums to see what nations are concerned about when it comes to the game. I would post on the polls about these issues to see where people were on these issues. I would then either post a thread on the matters, or just simply PM the gms directly. 4. How will to facilitate nations to go to the Secretary of State forum for their concerns on LU? When ever there would be any problems that would come up, I would advise nations to contact my dept on the NLUO forums via links, and PMs. 5. Why should we vote for you to be Secretary of State? You should vote for me for secretary of state because I am the best candidate, and I also have one of the greatest federations to ever exist backing me. I will be fair and impartial. Not having an "organization" of their own seems to not be holding anyone back... Hezy perhaps to gain support, you could TRY to get along with the majority of your "minions" that reside on LU instead of starting fights - especially ones who are decent at playing the actual game. You should attempt decency as well. I honestly have no problem with the concept of the NLUO, I just don't agree with almost any of its leadership or procedures - I keep hoping for change... in vain.
