State of the NLUO of LU Address
2nd Term- 2nd Address 3108-3128

The State of the NLUO is in a very stable state of growth. There will be a new Secretary General leading the NLUO. This new leader will be tested very early considering the war going on between some countries over an inactive country that was really active. Hydra has since intervened, and is containing the issue. Also there have been 2 resignations in the Cabinet of the Executive Administration that needs to be filled. There is also a seat on the LUICC that needs filled. The Legislative branches are in the process of being revamped and simplified. The NLUO is constructing 85 federations via EO008. The NLUO is also in the process of implementing 1 common market for all nations of the world.

The main concept in the creation of the NLUO world government was to facilitate a more interconnected international community on LU through militarization of LU by the integration of LU federations into the government via a Federation congress. Through economic globalization by the integration of Common Markets into the government. Integration of the Security Council into the government combining all of these elements into a legislative tri cameral general assembly managed by an executive branch, which is managed by an International Criminal Court.

The Founding Fathers of the NLUO HighPriestess President Sweetpea-Wendy, President Lord Lee, King James the Fair, President Grayson, Emperor Tattooedpriest, and of course, me shared this vision with some minor differences, which lead to the eventual destruction of my nation, which was instigated by Stuart Taylor who has seemed to have come back. Be on the look out for a video called " The Founding Fathers of the NLUO" on NLUO History at the gov site. The NLUO has a rich history, and now we are making history by me being the first modern day Secretary General to hand over power to another leader. I believe that through this change we can continue to move this government forward into the future.

The eventual outcome of this government is to have a united LU under a world government to be able to organize and chart the course of LU, and the simcountry game as a whole. We as a government eventually want to get into the Space game, and help facilitate cooperation in that field as well, and all for the betterment of LU. If we have a strong Central World Government, we will be able to facilitate changes within the game itself through the Gms, by using the government. If the Gms see a united government on LU, and we as a planet want war levels gone, they will be gone because of the influence we would yield. An example would be the "Gold Coin Crisis". We could have had better ground to stand on if we were united as a government. Instead we have a number of nations who would rather just stay to themselves in their own federation, and not integrate, but will still have something to say. The news has not portrayed me in a good light, nor do the comments from the SC Forums. Even So I have been a good Secretary General, and a worthy leader. I did not always make good on my commitments, but I did the best I could do, and I can leave this office with my head held high. I salute you Little Upsilon!!! Fair well LU as your Secretary General. I will quickly hand over power to the Secretary General Elect when we meet. I love my planet, and this is the State of the NLUO.

Thats just copy pasta from his site. Whats the freaking point in having it in two places? Anyway, isnt it the president who gives the state of the union address? I got news for you....YOU LOST LMFAO!

Seriously, NLUO is the biggest load of shit ever. I'm wasted on FB....I think its time to come home and put an end to this shit all over again.

Stand aside Hydra, Stuie is coming home.

Why a previous (not current) leader of the NLUO is giving such addresses is beyond me. We hear more than enough from you Hezekiah. Perhaps you could let the actual leader of your group speak?

I am a LU citizen.

My opinion is the following:
Stop making complicated government structures that don't do anything in simcountry. Help players actually play the game. That is the reason I prefer Brandon Gill to you.

According to our constitution the Secretary General is required to give 2 State of the NLUO Addresses per term. The Terms are 40 LU years each term. I was just giving my last Address.

Also if you join the NLUO, there is a forum that shows you how to play the game. The Treasury Dept forums shows you all economic aspects of the game, and how to put it in play. You can also comment and ask questions and the Secretary of Treasury, which is President Aries, will answer your questions.

There is also a Dept of Defense forum to learn the war game, and the Defense Secretary will answer your questions. Also The defense Secretary organizes war training through c3 raiding.

So, In fact if you would just find out exactly what we do, then you can see that this government does a lot for this game. You would not be on LU if it was not for the activity that this government generates. Why are other worlds not as active? Answer that for me.

The NLUO site is plagued with malware, tracking cookies and spyware as are all free sites like that today.

Join and use it at your own risk.

Love how Hezzanub hasnt even acknowledged me yet lol

I'd argue that Aries shows people economic aspects of the game, not NLUO. He does more in chat than NLUO has ever done for new players. Take a look at your countries. About as poorly run as they could possibly be. You should try listening to Aries yourself.

You guys do not "organize" any war training. If you did, perhaps you guys would actually help each other OR put up a fight when in war.

You do not understand war and keep threatening players even though you are still restricted by war levels from attacking ANYONE or being attacked by ANYONE.

You guys do not raid c3s.

LU is active PARTIALLY because of how annoying you are. Think about how many players comment negatively about you on a regular basis. There are a LOT of active players on LU.

I'd also argue that Bad Meets Evil is much more active than NLUO, and is a far better organization. As such, it has far more members than you already, and its players are actually learning the game and progressing.

Take notes.

NLUO does create drama that can be fun for players. However, most of the drama relates to how ineffective your organization actually is. Not sure I'd want to take credit for that if I was you.

In fact, I would be on LU whether or not you were there. Do not take credit for my decision to play. I'd be happier if you DIDN'T play.

Hope that answers your questions.

All of what you said is based on your personal opinion, and not based on fact, which is the reason why you speak as if you have the full understanding of how our government works, and have never even tried to use the tools. All of the negativity actually plays into our hands because who actually likes their government. We are a reason to complain. If we were not here. You would be complaining to and about the gms. Furthermore there are elements of Hydra involved in our government. Our new Secretary General is from Bad meets Evil. So, basically your reply was smart ass at best with no
real actual facts.

NLUO is inactive and still developing as it ages. Those who choose to help and join have been great with advice and activity. We due encourage more experienced players to join, so when promoting and suggesting new players to join and learn from different econ and war styles of all federations, our words, my words, will have more concrete assurance. If you want to help people, do it in your way and we will do it ours. No one is forced to join, participate, or act at all. Free will and democracy. Plus, a federation can grow faster because of players being in it, rather a different and developing idea of "Assistance and Progression" for new and returning players. Thank you for your time.

@Hezy
As a matter of fact, YOUR comment is all opinion. How do you know that I haven't used your site? How do you know that I don't understand your government?

Players still have and do periodically complain about the gms and game changes. The gms have more power to handle complaints than you do.

The best thing that has happened to NLUO is new leadership. Hopefully there will be less focus on youtube videos, campaigns slogans, and calling out players and more focus on helping players and developing interest in GAMEPLAY.

Additionally, if you expect anyone to believe someone like King Herod had 40 votes, you've got to be kidding yourself. His countries go weeks without being logged into, isn't particularly skilled in terms of gameplay, and only posts periodically on the forum. You think 40 players would choose him to lead a supposed world government?

Please quit the farce and embrace what COULD be done. Your term is over so your 2nd state of LU address is late anyways.

I know Hezzy will ignore me, but heres my advice on how to make NLUO actually work. And before anyone says 'what do you know nub', may i remind you that i used to lead CIS, one of the biggest feds ever seen on the game.

My proposal;

1) Get rid of the premise of world government and evolve the organisation into a group of nations and feds working together for mutual benefit. Im thinking something akin to BRICS in real life.

2) Learn the game first. Ive been here less than a week and my countries are almost as good as hezzys who has been here for a few months. Actually, in a way they are better...look at the debt in his slave. Then, once you know the game impart that knowledge onto other people.

3) A group of federations and common markets working together will still need a leader and a charter so you can keep the elections etc etc.

4) Stop clogging the forums with NLUO stuff. I mean, look at the top 10 threads on the LU forum - that is the main reason people get pissed off.

5) After starting to follow this route and once you have a site dedicated to helping players and an organisation that actually works, apply for affiliate status. Doing this will enable you to reach more players and even other worlds. Remember, its only a handful of in each generation of players that looks at this part of the game.

6) Rename the group. Take into account the now 'galactic' target audience.

7) Rewrite the whole charter taking into account that there is now no need for a criminal court etc

8) Buy a domain and host the site properly. Those freewebs sites are all trackers and security threats.

9) Allow proper freedom of speech to show non members that if things dont go your way Hezzy, that you wont throw your toys out of the pram. This means 100 percent transparency and no members only areas.

10) Most importantly, act like a mentor - not a jackass.

Thing is, you are facing the same issues as you did all those years ago when i nuked anyone who joined NLUO. Today, you are inciting the same kind of hate simply because of the title 'world government' and your name that suggests a new world order. People dont like that and thats why you get the reaction you do.

NLUO is its past form didnt work, and now youre ramming the same old formula down peoples throats again. Its fate in this guise is ultimately pre determined. It will fail. Again.

It could be something great, like The Church of Simcountry once was....but it needs to change and evolve. All its doing now is scaring newbies away...im sure that you dont want that as no one else does.

Please....for once, listen to me. I told you this years ago but you didnt listen.

Brandon, what is your DEFINITION for "Experienced"?

A curious USS Member and White Giant Inhabitant...

If you give a cool and reasonable answer, I might as well fly to LU and join your System...
