On my countrys scrolling news bar, i notice "share portfolio" is always zero. i own stock in my state companies and have started a few public companies, but it always says zero. anyone figure that out? i have been playing this little game for a long time - but "share portfolio" is something i never figured out. and yes, i am that dumb.

Same here, I guess the news-ticker is just broken with regards to the country portfolio.

The country shares portfolio refers to public corporations where your country is the minority stockholder and another entity (ceo) actually controls the corporation. All other shares/percentages of corpirations your country owns and controls are reflected in the "value of state corporations"
