I would like to hear from any of the members of a Fed, or a Common Market, with reasons why I should join them, and not one of the others? There's not enough 'in-game' communication between nations hereabouts! :)

Fed's are worth it if you want to fight or have multiple countries who's defense you want to combine. Otherwise stay out of them.

Common markets are not worth it unless you want the points.

Letsie is right that you don't really need a fed until you want to fight or at risk of being attacked (multiple countries with being war level 3+). However, if you want to join mine, a few helpful vets who have actually fought and won pvp wars are available to answer your questions about the game. I would recommend you first learn a repeatedable way to make significant amounts of game cash which I believe develops with increased knowledge of the game and forming your own style. You will need the cash to fund a military capable of defending yourself and I could advise you on the units you will need and show you how to work your defenses in with the fed.

I agree with Letsie completely on common markets. I have made the same point in chat.

I'm sorry i didn't want to be rude. It's just that most new players think: YAAAY A FED! But they don't realise it's a double edged sword. I've seen more then 1 person joining a fed only to get dragged in a war they didn't want and being used as a 'sacrafice' But aries is 1 of those rare vets who tries to do what he says. If i were looking for a fed i would he happy to join his.
