Not sure if this is the right place for this. But a new Pope has been elected.
Pope: Francis I
Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina.
If anyone was keeping track of this. Mario was not one the media thought would get it nor did they think a Pope would be elected so soon.
He is the 1st Pope to use the name Pope Francesco ( Francis ).
He is also the 1st Pope to come from Latin America. He is a Jesuit. |

Dispite i'm not a catholic but was christened as an Anglican or CofE (Church of England). I think they have the chosen the right man for the job as his father is of Italian descent after all. Also he somehow seems to have a good, kind face to him as well to lead the Catholic church as well. Overall I believe he will make a great spiritual figure for everyone. |
