You need to take cash out of the corp to get more loans. Ifs its a state corp not much you can do about it, short of blocking CEOs prior to the bidding process. Usually beneficial on the country though.

Isn't this hostile bidding frowned upon in SC, to the point of war? But how would you war against an enterprise I suppose? Please comment, I would like to learn more about this. Ta.

War is a pointless gesture, that hurts both parties. Simply debt bomb the hostile bidder and make them pay the economic price.

War is the third realm of Simcountry. It can change several things and much of what it touches. It has been the main vehicle, to not so long ago, this community was changed. To point of fact, created anew.

It can be far more profitable than any corp or enterprise... to the victor.

one of my fed mates had someone do that to several of his enterprise corps, and the both of us went on a rampage and hostile bid on all but 5 of his, thus taking them under our control, moving them to our countries. Of course, you have to have the cash to do so. He stopped immediately

So he got loads of cash, you and mate spent loads of cash, his enterprise can re-build, you have to re-coup, who wins?

If he stopped, he bottled (as they say on this side of the pond) and you won I would say. A victory of courage and cash, if you had warred on his country/empire, you would surely have had a victory of blood as well...

if you did have to fight a war make sure that his country is near the ocean so that you can use the navy and nuclear subs

They don't have to be near the ocean to utilize navy, surprisingly on SC Navy can go through lands.
