Conquered c3 (Golden Rainbow)

After taking a c3, how do you go about taking the countries assets? I do not want to keep this country but can't figure out how to get rid of it. Thanks, Griz31

NM about the taking of assets, I figured it out, however it is not allowing me to cancel the country. It states I cannot cancel while at war even though the war has ended and both home pages state clearly the country is not at war. Is there a certain amount of time I have to wait before I can cancel?

it takes one game month after the war is over to clear.
