How to decrease army (Little Upsilon)

Hello everyone, i played simcountry for a brief while a few years ago. I started again today but the war engine has totally changed. I would like to dismiss my whole army for the moment since i am still protected and I would like to start it from scratch so i dismantled all my units but there iss till personel in the army and it increases the bigger my population is even though i dont actively buy new weapons. Where can i sell weapons to make my army smaller/disappear?

You can sell them right on the open market. Go to Trade -> World Market Trading -> products in stock: buy and sell -> select the sell option on the far right of each weapons and ammo you want to sell.

Also, you may want to go to Finance -> Budget -> budget settingfor next year -> place zeros in the boxes next to the military budgets. This will save you money.

Top Header, Look for "TRADE"
1st option is "Products in Stock"
Next to each product you will see an option to buy or sell.

Hello, I thought the budget was not really functioning at the moment? but apparently the budget will decide what products are automatically bought each year, right? thanks a lot for the help everyone! I did some refreshing reading of the manual today to refresh my knowledge of the game. I could not find any information on the new 'back to work'and clinics though. lets see if I can find it in the news.
