Hello, im still getting used to the game and dont get some things.

I have workers who are unemployed(almost in all profesions) and i have corps who lack workers, why?

I would say in real world it might be because my social security was high, but its far away from that. I dont get it, all salaries in my corps are 300(some have to reach it yet), but the hiring level at some corps is like 10%.

The problem is the "almost" in "almost all professions"... Corperations need the right ballance of imployees... Say a compagny needs 10 executives and you only have 6. Then it can only employ 60% of needed executives, and will thus employ only 60% needed for all professions, no mather how many unemployed you have in the other fields. Bassically, you need to set education priorities to match the ratios correctly in order to get high employment.

There are 2 primary reasons for this employment condition.

1. As Charles says and profession inbalance, so you will need to alter your education priorities.

2. You have let the computer determine your hiring and production levels. Check under auto settings.

I've balanced out my education for now pretty good, needs litle fine tuning, but thats underway. All companies have the same 300 salary level, but some have only 10% employment and some 40%. And if a manualy set the hiring rating 100% will the company stock up on workers gradually? or should i leave it on auto allowing the cpu to "manage" this?

P.S. are some corporations more atractive then others to workers?

Set manual production/hiring to 100%. NEVER EVER EVER let the computer do your production/hiring.

I forgot to change this setting on a C3 I conquered recently, and it took me about a game year before I realized why my airline corp wouldn't go above 55% hiring, despite the fact that airline tickets were very much in demand and high-priced on the world. As a result, the corp was running on break-even when it could've been profitable that year.
