Two unit questions:

A) When I create a unit without having the full default levels for ammunition, will the unit be automatically brought up to those levels after I create it? For example, if the unit default is 25 defensive missile batteries and 2000 defensive missiles, and I have the 25 batteries but only 500 defensive missiles, will the default level stay at 500 missiles from then on, or will my supply units gradually bring it up to 2000?

B) When a unit loses weapons in a war, will those losses be automatically replaced afterwards, or does it have do be done manually? If the latter, how?

So in answer to A), if I only have the 500 missiles at the time I set up the unit, that's where it stays from then on? It never gets replenished above that level, even if the game-assigned default is 2000 or 4000 or whatever?

Correct. You set the level when you create it. you can't set it to more than you have.

Actually I just found that it is possible to alter the target supply levels after setting up a unit. That's a relief!
