I keep getting the message that it's advisable to have 500,000 gasoline, 500,000 aircraft fuel, 1,000,000 supplies etc. or whatever for my armed forces. I've tried resetting the supply targets upwards for my units, and also adjusting the re-order strategies for all of these goods under the "trade" pages so they don't go below a certain level, yet I continue to get the message and my units keep running out. If it was just the units running out, I'd make more supply units, but since I also get the message that stocks are low the problem must be elsewhere.

The units are constantly out of gas, yet I just checked and I have 15,000,000 gasoline in stock!

So what gives? Any ideas?

^^You need more supply units.

You also need to set your country order strategies such that you are ordering MORE than your monthly consumption. It will still probably take time to get rid of the newspaper message.

Quite frankly, I wish there was a way to turn the newspaper off. It is an intelligence hole. But the idea was proposed in a poll, and W3C flat out refused to take the suggestion.
