War damage

If you declare war on a c3 with one of the countries in your empire, can you sustain war damage to corporations in your slave countries, especially when the c3 is many miles away and never attacks your country?

I have at least 1-2 corporations in all of my countries in my empire that sustained war damage, even though I used only 2 of them to attack the c3

i also dont understand this and i suggest emailing the webmaster as he helped me out

That's impossible. Instead of contacting the GM, post your country name and the world you play on. I'm sure an experienced player can figure it out.
