Last thread didnt seem to show up. Well anyways, I have about 13 corporations all with supply shortages. The problem is factory maintenance. None of them have enough of it, so I placed an immediate order for them and go about 1000 thousand. I thought this would fix the problem, however when I check the corporations, it says theyre still short on factory maintenace units. I check my stock and I have 10000 maintenance units. Any help? Thanks.

I am guessing those thousands of FMUs are in your country stock. Your country needs to manually sell those FMUs to its corps to redress those shortages.

From the menu bar:

Trade-->Local Corporations-->Country trading with own corporations

You are brought to your list of country stock and can select the commodity you wish to sell to your own corps (in this case, FMUs)

Enterprises work in a similar fashion.

A corporation isn't allowed to buy more then a few years worth of supplies I think. The reasoning behind this is to prevent larger stockpiles building up in corporations, which may be used to crash product markets by closing the corporations down allowing all its supplies to be dumped on the world market.

Theoreticaly, what would happen, in the above scenario, to materials that cant be put on the world market, such as plutonium, if you were to close a strategic weapons corp?
