Why can't I use my jeeps? (Kebir Blue)

So I just conquered this C3 country. I have 2500 jeeps sitting there Activated... but when I go to the Supply Unit creation menu and try to make Supply Units out of them, the game only allows me to use like 157 of them. Why won't it allow me to use the rest?

Would it not be easier to just use 125 jeeps for the supply unit and have trucks fill it in to carry the supplies. You shouldn't need 157 supply units, unless you have that many. 1 supply unit per batalion or division should be enough.

That's not really what I meant:

It takes 250 jeeps to make a large supply unit. I had 2500 available jeeps. I was trying to make 10 large supply units of 250 jeeps each but it would only let me use 157 of my 2500 jeeps in my supply units. Therefore instead of 10 supply units I could only make 1 supply unit and even then I had to add 93 missile interceptor batteries to do it.

Anyway, I transferred some more stuff into the country (light tanks, etc) and used that to make a few more supply units. I'm still not sure what was wrong with the jeeps but I haven't encountered that problem again...

I've had the same exact problem. Even though I had about 1300 jeeps, when I went to create 10 small supply units, it said I only had about 250 units available total (I think it was 258). When I bought an additional 1000 jeeps, I was able to use all those plus the "258" it said I had available before to make 10 small supply units but was wondering myself why I couldn't use the rest of the jeeps I still have in inventory.

I'm in the same boat. My inventory shows that I have 6,513 jeeps, but in setting up a new unit it says that I have only 36 available.

15000 jeeps and about 2000 available...
