Is it 100 GC to buy a country or enterprise in a different world? Or is it 15 GC only for "registering" in that world? I am confused.

15GCs(? shouldn't that be 30?) to register. Do NOT buy C3s for 100GCs.

And in instead of registering, why don't you ask someone to sell you a country on the world you are about to register? More cost effective.

I recently bought a C3 on LU for 30GC - 1GC for each of the minimum 30 days playing time

I was already playing on KB, incase that makes a difference.

It never crossed my mind to bid for a country no longer wanted by a player.

Yes, just ask around or post a thread on the World forum you are interested in. People are always deregging countries with 20m pop in them. You can get them for next to nothing.

Ok so i got two different answers from Jack Frost and Kiteless. JF says its 100 GC for a new country or enterprise on another world. Kiteless says its only the 30 GC per month. Which is it?

(I dont know if i want to buy a country from another player since my whole plan is to start at lvl 1 and get level awards etc)

Alexander, if you do not have a country in a paricular world, you can simply sign up to one (the reference to 30 GC is because you'll have to pay 30 GC per 30 days for the registration).

In a world where you have a country, then you could pay 100 GC to get another one (but its far easier and cheaper to simply capture it).

To get your country, go to the 'simcountry portal', click on 'add country or enterprise', select your new world, then pick a country from the maps. There will be a confirmation pop-up that reminds you that you'll be paying 30 GC per 30 days for the registration, but you do not need to spend 100 GC to buy the country if you do not already have one on that world.
