Help!!! Loosing pop. (Golden Rainbow)

Does anyone have any details about vanishing population ? Once my countries reach app. 50M I start loosing pop. and it seems 2 get worse the more pop. I add. Are their any ways to avoid this??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look to your Birth and Death rates, influenced by the level of health care in your country, as a starter.

Other things are an aging population, so buying 1M people for a country with 25% retirees will buy you 250,000 more retirees, increasing your death rate with time.

Almost 12% of your pop is 65 and older, they are a big drag on your country. Worst than that is the soon to retire 50-65 age groups comprise 20%. I've had worst aging population bubbles and did all the below for a full month and before I finally evened them out. Younger people make babies, have jobs, pay taxes, are in the military, etc. Old people sit around playing cards and talking about the good ole days.

You can refresh your population by:

selling off population as much as you can stand,

buy back population with more young people,

transfer/exchange people with your other countries with younger population.

A H.I. of 102 will keep them dieing off, a lower HI will reduce them faster.

The 35 to 40 category breeds slowly. 40 to 45 not at all. If the average age is over 35 then on average yer simpeeps are not breeding.

exchange workers to pick up nurses. Take a slave country and set the education index to 60% nurses 60% something and all else 0%. Try to trade 400k workers per month.

If you have a slave with 20M people you can transfer to the slave and then sell population. Set up some other slave with 30M young people. Buy young population and send to your main country to replace the exports.
