When buying someone's country, do we get GC for levels for the country? (White Giant)

I didnt want to have a long title, here is the real question.

If i buy a country from an empire, which is lvl 2.

when i buy the country, the country itself is at level 1.

Do i still get the possibility to get GCs if i get the country to level 2? Or was the level already acheived and i do not get anything?

No. You will not receive rewards for 30 real days after you have bought a country or enterprise from a player (regardless of the state or level it is at).

You CAN gain levels, and it may bump you up higher, but then you will permanently lose out for the rewards you would have received getting those levels on your own.

So, don't buy until they drop their level to one you've already reached.
