Nuclear Submarines & the navy fleet (Little Upsilon)

OK - so I finally invested in a strategic Nuclear Sub manufacturing company. I see my 2 new subs in my list of assets. But when I go to my NAVY page, I don't see the sub with my command center or aircraft carrier. Can I deploy a submarine with my navy? Or does it have a separate method of deployment?
