i am trying to purchase a country in the same world and am having problems with the directions given..."Find a free country (Computer Controlled) in that world.
Browse to the home page of that country and use the Purchase link. The cost is 100 Gold Coins"..i can't find a "purchase" link anywhere...when i use my home page to "add a country", it says i already have one on that world...when i use "buy a country" tab, i get the message listed above...can someone help this noob out please? |

Not sure why you would want to purchase a c3 country when you could take it by force for much cheaper, but I'll help you out 
Go to the home page of the c3 country that you would like to purchase. In the middle of the page it should say: This country is free. You can purchase this country. You should be able to click on the part that says 'purchase this country' where it will then give you the option of paying the 100GC for the country.
Good luck...and if you'd like to know the cheaper way to get another country do some forum searching/search the simcountry wiki (google simcountry wiki) and you'll find strategies on taking c3 countries. |

And to give you some scale, to purchase a C3 costs 100GC.
Assuming you only have the vaguest idea of what you are doing, it shouldn't cost you more than around $2T in weapons and ammo to conquer a C3 (which equates to around 4 - 5GC). |

for those who are also having difficulties purchasing a country, the purchase option is ONLY located on the "old layout"...the "new layout" does not have it...and based on the constructive criticism received, i have decided to obtain the country through war..thank you for your help |
