I cannot seem to get my employment in check... Ive manually set production and hiring to 100% but it doesnt get anywhere near that. I have plenty of schools, surplus of workers, but for some reason they arent being employed. I have also set salaries high, so thats not it... I have quite a few corps, but nothing seems to be helping. its dropping every month. Any help would be appreciated. Country is Arrakeen.

You have too many corps being built. Dont build anything unless you have the workers to staff it.
As a rule of thumb, 2 corps for each 1 million people you have, so you have at least 12 corps too many.
Also you could do better with your education priorities. For ease of working the priorities out, always have them total 120. This gives you an average of 10 for each worker type. Then work from 10 up or down as you see fit depending on what you need the most. (A 20 would be quite a dramatic figure if you really needed lots of some type, to give you some idea).
Keep raising your education index to at least 150 and, pro tip alert, you want the same index for schools, highschools and universities, the game will work to the lowest of the three, so keep them the same.
Just to make things even more involved, a shortage of one worker type will cause the corps to lay off an equivalent percentage of ALL worker types, so you need to balance things carefully.
Another pointer I would give is that you have too big an army for your needs using too many workers.

Good luck.

The biggest thing I notice is you have too many corps for the population you have. You DON'T have a surplus of workers. You're biggest shortages, by far are in High Tech Engineers, High Tech Seniors, and High Tech Executives.

a) you need to stop building new corporations.
b) you need to close quite a few you already have. Because of the fixed costs involved in a corporation, it's far better to have 20 corps that are at 100% than 40 corps at 60% hiring.

Don't forget to build schools, LOTS of them. You also might want to look into either selling of your military or putting them into the reserve.
