I looked through the game documentation and could not find and answer two either of these questions.

A) As far as your migration index, what number is the "0 gain/loss" marker? IE, according to the migration index, what numbers indicate you are gaining or losing population?

B) Also when converting housewives/disabled persons into workers, what positions do they go into. Are they just like normal people following education quality/priorities. Or do they go mainly (or wholly) in certain trades?

Item No. 49 in the game news for the migration question Lundy.

As for question B I don't know, but I would hazard a guess they are distributed evenly according to the ratios of existing worker types and/or age groups.
