I won a war, and took over the country. I had pretty much reduced the country to nothing. Now what do I do to the country to make it function and stuff again???

You'll notice the country has a severe shortage of construction. I try to buy as much as I can, it'll take a little while though. I'm told supply units help rebuild cities and things though I'm personally not 100% sure, cant hurt to start a few though. Apart from that I cant think of anything different than what you did to your first country, employ your population, get your education going etc. A few war hospitals will help the population recover quicker. The rest is just time and patience.

It takes roughly 2 billion units of construction to repair the war damage of a c3. It's best to buy that yourself at "best price" before the automation buys it for you at a potentially costlier "immediate" price.

Also, it's good to go to "configure automatic systems" and make some changes. I would at least turn off the "automatic building of new corporations" and change the requested quality of supplies ordered by the country to 100.
