Government salaries (Little Upsilon)

What would be a good setting for govt salaries ? I currently have it set for automatic and its up to 404 %. I know that those workers pay taxes and other things but it just kinda seems high.
If anyone could give me some advice I would appreciate it.

I suggest government salaries be set manually to around 75-80% of the corp salaries.

When I had government salaries lower than that, the government workers often became uppity and quit. I seem to recall that periodically some government facilities closed when government salaries were lower than that level.

As for the automatic setting, I suspect it makes government salaries match corp salaries. It seems the automatic setting also reduces government salaries if a country is consistently unprofitable.
