Sorry, there is no economic sense in closing this corporation. (White Giant)

I have a fully upgraded corp that i wished to close. But this message "Sorry, there is no economic sense in closing this corporation." pops out and prevent me from doing so.

I have never seen anything like this so can anyone tell me why this happen and how to overcome it.

Hmm.... I still got this message. Apparently it does not make economic sense to close a corporation that is making little or even losing money.

A while ago a new player had that problem in a country I had ceo corps in. They couldn't close any corporation. The player was also a non paying member.

Perhaps you need to be a paying member to close a corporation. Email the gamemaster the question.

That rule was removed once before, and it was linked with market value. This is not the case.

But as Maestro says, it might have something to do with your status. As I recall, it might be one of the measures to guarantee abuses aren't possible with free membership.

We used to ask somebody to destroy those corps with sneak attacks. That option is locked to you, so you will have to purposely derail that corp into loss.

Thanks. That make sense but it should be stated more clearly. I haven't had problems with closing other corporations though. Might have to do with value of corp.

For some unknown reason, I was able to close the corporation. Again thanks to all who helped.
