Inter-conection between empire building game and enterprise game? (White Giant)

I have recently begun playing the empire building game and am looking to build the economic strength of my countries. I am also thinking about starting an enterprise. Is it possible to use the economic power of the enterprise to help boost the power of your countries and would it therefore be best to start an enterprise on the same world that you have your empire?

simple answer yes
reaistic answer it depends on how you play the game how much it will help you
but you might as well do it because it won't hurt you no matter what and even if you don't benefit from it immediately you may find ways later on

Thanks for the advice Swann. However I have just realised that it costs 30 gold coins a month to play the enterprise game in addition to the empire game, so I think I might try and build up my strenth a bit first in the empire game.
