As stated in the subject, i am confused about how many units I have. Is it shown in the Defensive Force index the entirety of my army? What about those in the products in stock? And those in the garrison and military units?

Defensive force index shows your units and ammo in reserve. The reserve units use a small portion of the reserve ammo per month and require personel to keep them shiney. Theese units are the same as thoughs in stock.

Field units such as garrisons, air wings and supply units are not in the defensive force index but do add to the index score. When in the field, they use more resourses per month, and require different personel.

Thanks Synicus. It clears some things up. But what you mean by requiring different personnel? You mean the same defensive missile battery require different amounts of llw and mlm for reserve and for garrison?

And how do i check how many ammo of each unit i am consuming per month?

Correct, I don't recall + or - either way, It probably depends on the unit, different types use different amounts of support, such as trucks.

Goto world trade/products in stock: buy and sell.
check the 'monthly use' collum

On a slightly different track, I have assumed that if you put helicopters in disaster relief units, they don't use helicopter missles. Can anyone verify this?
