I have now lost 14 universities over a couple of game years? I have university teachers enough, I build and then they disappear? The university teachers are not comming back?

Are they going to the corps in my country?

You're gov salaries may be a bit low so those uni teachers go get jobs in corps where they earn more. Gov salaries should be no less than 75% of corporate salaries as a guide-line.
Up your edu priority for uni teachers by 1 or 2 (assuming you use a 120 total) and swap something for a couple of thousand of them to prevent closure of more unis. More unis closing will start a downward spiral as you train less uni teachers etc etc. The other enemy could possibly be a large drop in the amount of people of the right age to become uni teachers, check your education and pop pages. This last is unlikely for older people though and you would notice it among all sorts of workers.
Last thing, NEVER build schools, uni's etc if you dont have enough workers for them,

Thanks for reply. I have observed the index for some time, and I get more and more university teachers while the universities are closing? I have nearly 17000 unemployed university teachers now..?

Ah well, its something else you are really short on then, probably one of the Hi-tech skills.
Try to build one university but before you confirm, the red bars will show you what you are out of or a nearly full orange bar will show you a severe shortage.
Note it takes 2000 uni teachers to build one university.
If you still have problems leave your country name and I'll have a look to see if I can help you.

Government salaries should be 188, aka 75.5% of corporate at 250. I don't know if enterprise salaries would impact it or not. If they do, you have a majority of corporations well over 250 salary and you would need to raise both.
