My country is California on Kebir Blue. One of the public enterprise corporations in my country is failing. It is worth 0.56B at the moment, and is suffering employment problems, even though there are sufficent workers. It is "International Cali Meat Inc."

The wages are 350, which is higher than my own, has 225/225 quality/efficency, making small profits, has 160 avg materials, but is not working with maximum workers/efficeny. Can anyone tell my why?

I'm going to strike at production and hiring set to automatic, and a contract to the corporation for high tech services which is feeding in 322 high tech services. Along with the meat surplus on KB.

Not sure, Funkmaster; if that corp belongs to another CEO (it sounds like it does) what they will sometimes do in a severe oversupply situation (as WD mentioned) is decrease production and/or hiring. This lowers their costs and may keep the corp floating until the product situation improves. In RL this would be called "layoffs".

Of course it doesn't help your country in the short run (less people working, less corp taxes paid) but in the long run it will help, especially if the corp avoids closing because of the temorary "downsizing".

Or it could very well be as Kitsune and WD mention, whoever owns the corp has their settings on auto and the game is attempting to adjust to the market situation.

Okay, I've contacted him, and asked to make the autos to 100%, waiting for reply.
