Country shortages (Little Upsilon)

What would happen if a country had a shortage of everything? what effects will it have?

lol... your supply index would drop to 0 and I guess your welfare would plummet. After much of that I would imagine you would get riots which act much like natural disasters

Well im doing this to one of my countries and see what happens, im making a profit so far, have you ever done this yourself?

What do you do with Factory Maint unit shortages? I bought 2000 units to fill the need and the Corps' arent using them to resume production.

Your country owns them, not the corps. Sell them to your corps - Trade > Local Corporations > Country trading with local corporations

Corbulo, don't stress those shortages for Factory Maintenance Units (FMU) they just go negative. Running out of anything else halts production.

Thanks Skandar . that solved the problem. So, the corps order there OWN materials, lesson learned. White Darkness, I realized after a few hours the same thing, production continues. Tahnks to both of you for the advice.
