Ground Units (Little Upsilon)

Hi all. Can ground units move through other countries I dont control? This instance a c3 next to me? Ive had a quick look and cant find much info.

Im blocked in by those green stripe countries that are 12 months away from been free. Its slowing me up.

Thing is ive been planning for ground wars so cant just air bombared.

My suspicion is you cant move through so do I need to set up RDU's and make a base?

If it is a c3 just declare war on it and you can travel through it, and no you can't go through countries you dont own unless you have permission if its a president owned country

Sry my question wasnt very clear. I had to go through one of those green stipe countries to get to the c3 i was targeting.

Thx for the reply Keto but it doesnt matter now. Today I just realised exactly what the war levels mean Im so disapointed. Now I wish I hadnt bothered raisng it

Another good reason for allowing attacking of inactive countries. That is, if the inactive reverts to level 0 which would be the idea, so new players get a bite of the cherry or woad can use it as a bridge to his desired C3.

Ive had 3 C3 wars thinking that's what I had to do to advance the game levels. I didnt know it was advance war levels or build your defence index. I thought I had to do both. The instruction arent very clear. Now ive wasted those war levels on pointless c3's that I binned straight away. I should'nt have went to war till I had a target that was really worth it. I almost canceled my country when I realised that today

launch a rapid deploy unit
then wait 8 hours and transport
your land attack and occupy units
land units are much cheaper to conquer with then air units
cruise missiles either land or sea are great for forts
kill the the air units then land units
drones are great otherwise the high dollar fighter planes get shot down
2 to 1 ratio
OFF AA is as useful as indegestion012.

Ok thx Matt. Been taking C3's with those weapons you meantioned. Infact the method hasnt changed much since I last played. Cruise missile for forts is somehting i didnt know. Will keep that in mind
