today i decided to do some math with one of my corps to see if my corps was really selling at 300 % market price.
here it go : 105,000 ( production last month ) X 22,726 ( market price ) X 3 ( 300 % selling strategy) = 7.1 B but actually my product sold curent month indicate 3.1 B sold.
This product is usually sold at the very first day of the month.
The Q is 120.
So there goes my question : Is there a maximum price to sell on the world market ?

I would do that test over several months to get a roughly true idea dad. Your figures there dont sound right. I would find it unusual to see a Q120 product sell at 300 straight away.
Extensive testing found 2.96 market to be the most you'll ever get paid except in extreme shortages (lots of immediate orders I imagine). This was probably best part of a year ago though so it may have changed some, especially in light of the new 120Q minimum.

Some of my FMU corps are at 400 % sale strategy nad i still manage to empty my stock pretty fast. So are they really selling at 4 time the market price or they cap at 2.96 ?
Im also producing some Air to air missile and the supply is 51,000 and the Shortage 9M and I would like to prfit the most of this shortage so how high would you put the sale strategy ?

here some new math for my FMU Corps. I changed my way to calcul to obtain the real price im selling.
Products Sold Last Month 4,096.39M SC$
Production Last Month 906
Quality of the Product 231.7
The latest price paid on the market 3.08M
Sale strategy was put at time based 400 % minus 25 % each month not sold. The product is sold at the very begining of the month.
So here my math:
4,096.39M / 906 = 4.52 M per FMU
4.52M X 100 / 3.08M = 147 % ( sale price based on the calcul )
Im asking somebody to tell me where i got wrong or if im forgeting a number somewhere. The number you see here are a copy and paste from the corporation page GENERAL DATA.
Please help ,good people of SM cause im really lost here

If you have a free membership, no matter how many settings you mess around with, your products will always default to selling for 'Best Price' in my limited experience.

You can only sell a product at a very high Q or price if there is demand for that Q or price. No demand, the sale will carry over to the next mth at a reduced rate
Its a little more complex than that, but thats the jist of it

Before I become a member can you tell me the price i can obtain from Q 250 product that the supply is 1/2 the demand on the world market? Just to be ready and put my sale strategy at the good rate. Thanks
