Still building up forces to wage a successful war. I've noticed threads about the economic woes associated with keeping the new country, and need to be vastly more economically sound before doing so.

However, some advice on what defensive arms to build up to give a reasonable chance of defending the new country would be extremely helpful for long term planning. Playing on GR, and if I read aright, I need never worry about attacks on my home country. Would moving the entire defensive force to the new country, and then slowly building back up forces at home be a viable option?

Many thanks for your time and consideration,
Marshal Ney

Ive done it before moved defensive forces to a new country but it takes awhile and you have to be patient and you cant move things like carriers and bases obviously which is a pain just remember to have a good air defense and you'll be alright this means interceptors and helicopters in separate wings

Yes, lose all you military in your main when you take another country. You should never need to have them there again. Storing ammo in a main is fine, and you cant lose it from there. Then make your main an uber great financial powerhouse.
(PS. dont go by mine lol!)
