Airdrops

I am trying to make an airdrop but i doe not work.
I have an airtransport unit and a special forces unit both supplied. The distance between my capital and c3 capital is less than 12000.
I select unit to airdrop and location butnothing happens.
No error message appears and nothing show in th scheduled airdrop menu. Any ideas?
