In what ways can I get involved in the space program? It looks like I can buy a space center. What do those do exactly? How do those make money? I'm pretty new to the game so still learning.

Also how do share dividends work? Does the corporation just pay out like normal when it profits but these go to shareholders instead?

Is there a maximum to corporations I can own?

What if I have 200 private corporations and like 800 public corporations? Would I be able to build or bid on new corporations then?

If you look at existing space-related corps, you will find that very few are profitable. You can get a wide range of opinions about the space program. In my opinion, that whole scheme is best avoided.

Public corps sometimes pay dividends. Generally they need to be profitable to pay a dividend, and you need to set the profit transfer to something greater than 0%. You can individualize the profit transfer percentage for each corp, or set a uniform percentage.

The shareholders get a share of the dividend proportionate to their ownership of the shares.

Your CEO can own an unlimited number of corps. But once it has 400 corps, it starts having decreasing marginal returns. I don't believe there is a limit to how many corps you can get by bidding or building.
