Question about CEO #1 Award

If you get the #1 Country Award its automatically accepted so my question is: is the #1 CEO Award also automatically accepted?
I'm asking as it may be that on KB one of my CEOs get #1 before my Country gets #1 but as the country award is higher I want that one and not the CEO award. So anybody knows?

#1 CEO is automatically accepted.

Reference: I don't remember having the choice to accept the #1 CEO award when I last won it.

Starting with the March awards, you will receive all the awards.
# 1 will be accepted automatically, other awards will have to be accepted manually but you may receive more than one.

Each award, will carry a score penalty that will become smaller each day and will disappear in time.
winning #1 award will reduce your score and winning in the following month will not be possible.
winning multiple awards will reduce your score even more.

Awards will be much higher than in the preceding months.
Numbers will show up before the end of the month.

I have a couple of further questions to clarify the rule change for me. (I think I know the answers already):-

1) If a player receives award for #1 ranking on one world, will all of that players empires be excluded from winning further awards during the blackout period is is the current ruling?

2) In the same situation, will the score penalty apply to all empires on a players account, even on worlds were no award was won?

And does that mean a player can win more than 1 1st place award in a particular month? or just 1 1st plus additional lesser awards?

There will be no limitations to the number of awards your can win.
you could win first place in more than one place anytime.

However, the penalties will add up and will count for the entire account.

winning many awards will give you a larger penalty and recovery time will be longer.

The penalty will be subtracted from your score in all the countries you have.
the penalty will be reduced every day and your score will crowl up until it recovers.

you will be able to see your score and penalty on the score page.

Will the penalty be the same for #1 CEO and #1 Empire?

Whats with all the penalties? Why doesn't the game start rewarding players instead of taking things away?

Because if they didn't penalize, then players like you would win everything all the time. The rest of us wouldn't stand a chance competing with your awesomeness! The rest of us would be fighting for a distant 2nd!

I would hope the penalty would simply be proportional to the number of the total gold coins awarded.
