How do deregistered enterprises loose their shares?

So an enterprise purchased enough shares to control several corporations located in my countries. Basically, it bid up the corporations prices to unreasonable levels where every investment fund was compelled to sell. In the process, it went bankrupt with over $20T in negative cash and loans.

Now, the enterprise is deregistered, either do to negative cash or by the user, but it retains a substantial number of shares. Enough that if it retains them it would be impossible to return the corporations to truly public status.

So, the question is, will it release these shares at some point. Will they sell or disappear or something?

My guess would be, once the game updates( or the membership expires), that CEO and all corps in that CEO will dissappear

Nah, the shares owned by the ent will be bought by gamemaster enterprise. Then you have to wrestle them from him. Regular private corps I believe do disappear.

Well, things are moving now. Here is what I noticed so far.

One corp,

Candin interceptor missiles, in which the derreged enterprise owned 30% and I had two different entities own 25% each, completely disappeared. No news of its closing. Just gone, with the corporations graph showing one less corp. I lost over $1T in value in shares on this.

Three corps,

CC2 Precision Bombs 1, 2, and 3, which have a similar share situation in which I have several entities that own a total of half of the corp, indeed have a situation now where the shares are being sold. Unfortunately, these corps also had 50 each of effectivity and quality upgrades stripped from the corps from a value of 250 to 200. This will make it much more difficult for these corps to retain their value and attract investment from investment funds.


Something is wrong if a new enterprise is allowed to go into this much negative cash and cause this much dam

We are told there will be no corporation crisis if people were to deregister several entities because of the change in GC distribution.

Perhaps you would be better naming the enterprises and countries and worlds involved Aries. The GM will likely give an explanation then.

I finally was comfortable with the share price and regained my corps that didn't disappear. Now it will take some work to restore them to their previous value.

Yea the same happened to me with a ghost enterprise that bought majority shares and took control of a corporation that went from state to public. Then they deregistered and i couldn't but it back because it said it was still owning the shares, then the gamemaster bought them... Now what

When an enterprise is bankrupt or deregistered, the private corporations do not have a share holder and become the ownership of the gamemaster enterprise.

publich corporations are losing their largest shareholder. The shares that were owned by the enterprise are transferred to the gamemaster enterprise.

All other shareholders keep their shares and nothig is chaged. The gamemaster enterprise is managed automatically at a good level.

if the corporation does not have any shareholders except for investment funds, it will be move to the gamemaster enterprise.

Gamemaster corporations can be easily purchased by any enterprise, the offers are always accepted and the transfer of ownership is quick.

Candin Interceptor Missiles, the original, indeed disappeared. The corp was not just one I had shares in but resided in my country of Candinnalm. At the time, aside from the corp simply missing, the only other evidence of its demise was my graph of corporations reflecting one less corp.

You will notice a corp of the same name in my country now but will also notice it was founded around the same time as the incident. I change the name after the corp goes public and this corp replaced the original.
