Thought I'd add a similar question to this.
It was prompted by my newspaper report that the army was short of a particular commodity, and to purchase that commodity. I have over 12 months of country use supply of that commodity in stock. Having taken this commodity from every C3 I've raided, I have not made a purchase in a long time.
I have very few army units at this time. (waiting to go premium to start the massive upgrade. I have 4 military units, not counting the 3 supply units. I'm in the process of adding another supply unit.
Am I going to need a supply unit for every military formation now? In the past, from what I remember, a large supply unit could handle about 30 units/garrisons a month. Has there been a change?
If not, the BB's question becomes particularly relevant. How do you get the supplies to those who need them? Checking the supply level and then clicking "Save" has
War triggers them. Other than that they just go around once in a while resupplying units. I don't know how they work. I just know in my pvp war they were all moving like ants( hundreds of supply units )
Aye. But they should be supplying units in peace time also. Or, to rehash an Old idea from the forums (think it was Aries), let them draw supplies off of the base they are assigned to.
Units should have enough supplies to meet their commitments in peace as well as in war. Otherwise, you can get caught out, and go to war with an under supplied military.
Shouldn't the supplies be sent to the bases when bought? Or am I missing something?
