C3 Raiding

I seem to have hit a bump in C3 raiding at war level six. C3s have 10 defensive helicopter wings, and even with ground units stationed nearby it takes me two or sometimes three wings of 400 fighters to destroy one wing of helicopters, taking over 50% losses. This increases the required fighter amount to 8000-12000 fighters for me, costing nearly two trillion alone. Is there an easier way to remove helicopter wings, or better yet completely bypass them? Some general tips about C3 raiding would also be nice.

I'm not good in war game, but try with stealth bombers, specially mobile stealth bombers wings. Cheers!

If you destroy targets with only air power then the helis will never activate so don't use missiles or ground troops.

Well if I don't use ground targets I'd have to run gauntlets of interceptors for my bombers to function. Do you recommend precisions, helicopters, or stealth for that purpose SirSmokesAlot?

i use 300 fighters and 100 bombers dont have any ammo for the bombers in your units because they are used to absorb the hit from the int. Then attack a target usually I attack a town because they usually dont have any defense up this will cause the int. to respond from the defending country. you will lose about 20 bombers but take out 125 int. once the interceptors are gone the heli is easy to take out just hit them with the 300 fighters. you wont lose any fighters but it will destroy all heli. then i switch over to 300 bombers and 100 attack drones. hit the defense of each target first to take out the garrisons then hit the target. this is the fastest way to take out a c3 with as little lose as possible using your air power. dont forget to paint using sf and it usually take me only about 5 minutes to take a c3.
