This is ridiculous! I'm clearly being made to spend $30 or more on enough GC to get myself out of a temporary debt due to many orders being backlogged. I Wasted 12 gold coins to immediately gain 250B, which is MEAGER, and not worth it. Still can't access my country. I have like 35T in assets, I can't sell nothing, I can't deactivate my military if I wanted too.
I no longer waste Gold Coins on buying game money. I use GC for exchangeable goods to sell back onto the market for 20x what I get converting GC to game money. This isn't cool. I've spent hundreds in this game already over the years, and now I am blocked out of my country.
Please remove this feature, Andy, Game Master. It is not right.
I suppose I will just have to not play until my debt goes away naturally. at 100B monthly profit, it should maybe take a week to get out of this debt. What sucks even more? I'm still getting my last bit of "

I also just realized that I can not even ask the Security Council for aid because I am on the Security Council, and I can not get into my country to remove myself from the council to seek aid.
How screwed am I?

Honestly, Game Master, Think about this..
Raise the value of Gold Coins so that we can get 5x the amount of Game Money for Gold Coins. It should not take 12GC to get maybe 250B, and that 250B is a drop in the bucket or a penny in the grand scheme of global markets, debt, etc.
or..... Please let me access my country so that I can sell enough stock THAT I ALREADY HAVE, to get out of debt.
10GC should buy 1T at least.
Can we all get behind this!? Change the price of GC to reflect 1 Trillion game cash per 10GC? Seems fair.

I really believe the SC$ and GC market should be liberalized. It would help with your situation.

Agreed. Day 2 of not being able to access my country. The Economy is large enough that I am getting close too or around 100B monthly profit. My debt was 8T yesterday, but now its at 6.25T so progress is being made naturally.
I imagine within two more days, I'll be able to access my country again..
I DEMAND that the player rewards I've missed, be reinstated because I am currently not getting my free 600B which would have helped me out for the past 2 days, clear this debt. For some reason, I can not even get player rewards with my slave country anymore so I cant even use that for that.
I will be sorely disappointed if my player rewards are still on countdown even though I cant use them since I can not access my country.
This is borderline extortion... I played it your way, Game Master. I bought 20 more GC & converted it to Game Cash & all I got was 450B.. And that was a drop in the bucket, but hey, I thought

Sorry to hear about all this trouble. I think the gold coin exchange should be much higher let's say 20 gold coins for 2 trillion. 20 gold coins for 450B. That is really nothing in this game. I know people do not want to hear this, but the best thing a player can do when he sees this problem occurring is to 1st dismantle all units. Sell off your offensive military equipment, Then defensive equipment. Whatever money you have left us to build up your economy. Good luck August Aurellus, May the game gods be with you.

August,
I see you have resolved the problem without any major cost.
I also noticed the you spend many gold coins to purchase products while all these products can be purchased for game money on the market at a much lower cost and certainly, without the need to use gold coins.
I also suggest for you to read the country report as it has several issues that should be resolved and will improve production and income in your country.
you also have many more natural resources and if these are used, income will grow.
There is no good reason to be short on cash.

i dont understand why ifyour corps are all making profits yet your country in debt
selling country goods in world trade should ease the dept but seems not to make any difference to it
\my ave corps are worth 500b but nope still in debt this is a dumb game

I believe one of the reasons for this is because some people used to conquer plenty of C3s, buy weapons and ammo, and use them to wage war with a swarm of debt ridden countries. Many years ago, as a bonus, if you defended yourself by conquering those countries you would even inherent the debt. : ) That's no longer the case tho.
I remember Calloe Wolf and Wendy doing this, but I'm sure it was extensively abused by many.

tonelkcok,
Having profitable corporations does not automatically mean that you will have no debt.
there are many factors in country finance.
- Do these corporations pay a lot of taxes to the country. Did you look into the tax percentage?
- Does the country have very high cost? weapons? ammo?
- Does it have high cost on any other items?
Please check the financial page of the country.
The income and cost tab. The cash of the country and make sure
you understand where and why cash is used.
Most countries are profitable and many have very large cash reserves and no debt.
I suggest you also look into the country report page.
It shows in red, items that need to be improved.
